Why do some cultures treat experienced women as “too difficult” for inexperienced men?

in my native land Dominican Republic people value friendship and romance more than anything in life. unlike Americans who value career, earnings and status more than anything.

this pretty much made it hard for me when I was a teenager during my incel days because every time I visited my family down there they would pressure me to get a girlfriend already.

however every time I used to show interest on women that were already in multiple relationships in the past they would give me the instant...

"dont even think about it!"

hammer. they claimed that an inexperienced dude like me should not get with a woman who already has experience in the relationships and dating world because supposedly they were to "overwhelming" for dudes like me.

ironically I met my first girlfriend at the time during these days and she was far more experienced than I was. she was just bailing out of a toxic relationship when we met yet when we dated and smooch I really do not remember her being a challenge.

since then I been wondering, what exactly is so challenging about being with a woman who has more dating and relationship experiences than you? I thought we were all humans? I didn't knew relationships were equivalent to employment.
