Guys, If the socialists are able to ban private insurance companies in America, will medical tourism spike dramatically?

I can't imagine a person of any wealth waiting five years for a hip replacement when they could just go to India, Thailand or Mexico to a high-end clinic that specializes in that.

And for those who aren't particularly wealthy but do have private insurance from their work, why couldn't their employer just switch over to a Health savings account instead of insurance?

It would just amount more money fleeing the country.

Probably but my problem would be with that it would be like Obama care where doctors and medical companies would be piling on to the taxpayer bill uneeded drugs and treatments as well as products.

On the surface free tampons, viagra, headache pills, antihistamines etc and treatments for obesity related problems sounds good but in reality it would mean higher taxes, which is the problem with all these socialist nonsense.
