Whistleblowers like Nick S. being recognized, and so might you...
You COULD say that. My aunt was being scammed by DOZENS of people and cost her at least $11,000,000!! Almost every day, she'd get letters from various psychics promising her this and that and, in order for her to get those things, she'd have to send them some money!! I've spent most of the past week sitting on the porch going through these letters because I've already found many checks she'd written to them that she either sent and were returned because the address was not known or that she intended to send but never did!! I went through about 150 of those today and found one that got returned and there was $75 in CASH in it!!! HOW FUCKING STUPID can you be? Well, thanks loads for the extra money, Mary Ellen!! It DOES come in handy!! Too bad I can't do anything with any of the checks! Those, alone, would solve a few of my problems!
When she was selling her sister's house a decade ago, she told me that she's going to be getting a few million and will give me a million of that. She never did! I SURE WISH she would've!! I might have a few million, by now! Most likely, my million went to scammers!! She told me she wanted me to invest it, which I surely would've!! And then SHE pissed it all away on scammers, anyway!! She asked what I would do with it when I got and I jokingly told her I'd blow it all on records!! (All my life, any time I got money, I'd be told not to spend it all on records, which I never did! So, I was just making a snide remark that she took seriously and then decided not to give it to me!! Besides, by that time, I'd already stopped buying them! I just didn't have the room for any more!)
Yes, I used to do business with a bootmaker. They made the boots for motorcycle cops. They also made custom made orthopedic shoes. In the 1990s when the Soviet Union broke up many Russians came to the US. They were given free healthcare and they soon figured out if they said that they had bad feet they could get a free pair of shoes that cost taxpayers %$300. Soon dozens of Russians went to the bootmaker;s shop and ordered the shoes. The shop owner noticed that most of them did not have anything wrong with their feet. He even called the welfare office to inform them of the fraud. He was just told to fill the orders and basically mind your own business. Eventually the whole thing ended up in the newspaper and the state welfare office blamed it on the bootmaker. I am not sure what happened but eventually the bootmaker went out of business.
That's awful.
@lightbulb27 Thats democrats/ Never take responsibility and expect everyone else to clean up their mess
exactly why I have a hrd time pressing their button even when I agree with them on some issues.
they are the twisted sister party. I suppose if I felt like a victim I'd think like they do.
@lightbulb27 Republicans will not solve all your problems but they will not create more of them
@lightbulb27. Vote Republican, the country you save may. Be your own

didn't think it was that confusing of a question.

I had a friend that owned a restaurant his parents and send me packages because he took their credit cards the numbers when they ate in and then he would order packages in the us mail and sent them to my house so that he wouldn’t come down on him at his house and I had no idea what he was doing until my mother called the police on him, but we always wondered
I've seen a lot. I worked washing dishes as a teen, what I saw in that kitchen left me very squirley about earing out. Place is still poisoning people over 20 years later.
On construction jobs too. I've left jobs rather than have my name attached to a health and safety disaster/time bomb
Oh man, I've heard that from someone else, long ago. Do we really want to know what happens back there? steaks hit the floor?
You ever watch Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmares. Dirty fridges, old food
no. im volunteering at church and I see some. not too bad so far, but probably a mess in many shops. yesterdays buffet is today soup... or worse.
Sauces and cooked put back in the freezer to be used again. Rotting vegetables served. I mean a steak falling on the floor might not be to bad if the steak wasn't well past its use by date
I'm not a vigilant, lol
Yeah, just not in voting
