What are signs that a male teacher likes you? He is in his thirties. I am asking because this teacher is kinda creeping me out. I just want to be sure before I go making assumptions. What are signs of grooming?

He always asks me if I am OK. One time I missed lunch and came in class late. He dropped what he was doing and got me some pizza from the teachers room. He told my best friend right in front of me that he likes me better than a lot of the other kids in his class. Also when he was assigning stuff to us he said I got number one. Because I was munber one in his heart. One time he was dressed like a farmer for school and my friend told him I said he looked like Mario. He changed his shirt at lunch.

Ok, in high school one of mentors was a married man, probably alittle younger than my mom. He was good looking, had alittle Irish accent left over from his childhood, not the best teeth, but he was one of the coolest teachers in our school. He played guitar, he was chill, but yet inspired excellence in his English students, and he was very smart, he taught Advanced English for Seniors, bue he made his classes fun and you enjoyed doing the papers.

I knew him all throughout high school, and of course I had a crush on him, and sure we hugged a handful of times in 4 years time, and sure I felt it was alittle incestuous because he was like a father figure, plus he had two little boys and a wife. Upon graduation he gave me a Barnes & Noble gift card and one of my favorite books unabridged. I came back two years after graduation, he was the same guy, sweet, and all but he seemed like he had a lot to catchup on and needed to get to his next class to teach.

Conclusion: Sure, underneath the surface of all our relationships and interactions with people, in our hearts of darkness, there lurks one ounce of attraction, but just because it feels weird doesn't mean it is weird. Sometimes reading too much into some innocent act of kindness is the explanation. So unless he acts on his urge, you don't have enough evidence to say if in fact the teacher's loins roar for you. So you'll know if he wants you by his actions over time, but unless one of you does something stupid, it's just a very "close" teacher-student relationship, totally platonic, creepy or not if you're asking for this nice treatment. We all want that Mr. Feeny kind of thing, where they are likeour Yoda, and care for us, but teach us well. You want to feel safe with this teacher, male or female, but sometimes it's transference and it turns out the student is the one with the mixed up feelings. But in your case obviously you are not feeling this guy, but you are getting the signals that are telling you that he could possibly push the envelope. So be alittle paranoid and on guard because you don't want to ignore your intuition and be violated.

see this kind of situation is a little tricky because being a teacher say he does have eyes for you he could be saying he just being a "good teacher" or what not but then again maybe he if just an overly friend person whose to say. the thing is you know what you feel. its really like anything just take out the fact he is a teacher and ask yourself okay, if we were at the mall or some other public place and he acted this way towards me would he eventually ask me out?...

my senior year in high school I had to ask myself this because I was going nuts I had such a crush on my teacher I was 18 he was only 26 and we flirted all the time. I was going out of my mind. turned out he did find me attractive.

besides the point though you need to prob a little bit because you are the only one that knows, and you know what your gut feels

He is a cocky guy really. He is kind of cold hearted, a very controled man. You can tell. He would make me sit up front ing the classroom a lot. he never stutters or messes up his words but every time I sat up front he would do it. And he always had to explain things he meant. Very unusual behavior for him in class.

I think he is somehow crushing on you. You should act like he doesn't exsits, don't talk to him alot, show him that you are not interested in a polite way.

Like don't talk to him a lot or have any eye contact with him.
