What does this "relationship downgrade" mean?

I've been talking/dating/hooking up with this girl for over a month now. Everything has been great. We decided to become official last week, and now everything has changed. All of a sudden less than week after we became girlfriend and boyfriend she became very distant and we decided to take a step back removing the titles.

There was never any fight or any sign this was coming. We are still talking, still kiss but she is still distant and reluctant to have any further contact or cuddling that was very common before this randomly happened.

Does anyone have any advice on what to do and/or what might have caused this?

She's concerned with having to adapt her life to having a boyfriend and wants to operate on her own schedule.

I think what may have caused this is that you entered the relationship focusing on a sexual foundation which is not sturdy and reliable. You guys established your enitre purpose for having each other around on sex and what you guys could get out of sex. That's just not a very wise way to bring someone into your life if you plan on giving them a meaningful place. I'd be wiling to be that most of your relationship consists of sexual activity? It's awkward to mainly know and be attracted to someone based on their sexual side and then be getting to know the basics of their soul after you've already entered a relationship.

Dont know why... But the same thing has happened to me recently. Everything was great and then came the status In a relationship with... Everyhting went downhill. Don't know why... Maybe people just get scared because its official and known to all of their society so they want it all to be perfect. Maybe spontaneous I love you dies when it becomes official. Don't know... :-/
