Why do people feel uncomfortable around quiet people??

it seems annoying and irritating when people feel uncomfortable around quiet people.. yet I have to force myself to be loud.. its like being quiet is a bad thing when it is not

I think so too. We should all stop pretending and stop trying to talk when we feel awkward. Instead I start talking, and I hate it, to make conversation.

I'm quiet myself, but I hate awkward silences. If I'm around other quiet people it's not awkward just silence, so I'm not bothered.

You can't tell if they like being around you or if they tolerate it
