SETTING: Deli Bistro - A guy goes to the register girl to buy a lunch. Guy realizes his money/card is at home just a few blocks away. Guy pinky swears to girl at register that he will return to pick up his meal after he runs home for his money. Register girl agrees to pinky swear.

QUESTION: Is this flirting? If, so to what degree? Does age play a factor in whether or not it is flirting?

Uhmm. I wouldn't consider it flirting. Because it's just a pinky swear. But it's cute ;)

And of course age doesn't play a factor in any kind of flirting. Grandparents still flirt.

If he was acting flirtatious, it was probably just so that Register Girl would be more likely to let him go home and get his money/card and keep his meal waiting for him. It's cute (I love pinky swears!) but I wouldn't take it too seriously.

Umm well it doesn't really seem like he's flirting he's seems like he's just being playful but it's cute though I wouldn't really think about it all that much.
