Oh boyy.. I'm Muslim and my dad is very overprotective . I'm not even allowed to hang out with boys, even if we are hanging out as a group of friends. Because dating is agianst our religion. Try asking your girlfriend , why the dad doesn't like you. I'm thinking the daughter must have a really good relationship with her dad for her to tell her father, She is dating you. Or else, if it were me. I would haave never told my parents, they would get pissed lol. By the way, what is your ethnic background? My advice to you.. Is if things get to out of hand..
