Have you deleted all social media after a break up?

We decided to not be in each others' lives and I sent him a goodbye letter on FB a couple days after (he didn't respond). We aren't FB friends anymore and I don't use Twitter and Instagram, and a friend said he deleted/deactivated all of them a week after we said goodbye. This is drastic for him because I know he's always been on all three. I'm not sure what's going on with him, but has anyone else needed to avoid all social media after a break up?

I recently broke up with my girlfriend because she left me for another man. She removed me on Facebook, Twitter, and Skype. I deleted EVERYTHING I had from her. It's best to have no memories of her on the computer. It will only bring back bitter memories.

But to answer your question on social media, absolutely yes! It's what I did. You should take a week or two off the social media. Tell your friends you're taking a break; and you will only stay in contact via cellular phone. Sometimes people post really sad or depressing messages which can send mixed signals to whoever reads it. Someone can read it like a depressing message; and someone else can see it as hints of suicidal thoughts.

In business classes, I learned to NEVER make messages when sad, angry, or depressed because we think different when sending the message. Take some time off and rest. (:

Yes most definitely. Doesn't necessarily mean he hates you but it is his way of getting over you. I broke up with my boyfriend and was really upset. He begged me to stay friends because he was devastated. 4 weeks later there were pictures of him and a new girl and I deleted him instantly. I knew he was trying to get back at me. Shortly after that I deactivated my account because I realized the only reason I used it was to look at exes, how sad? Also I no longer wanted him to know any of my business. I found out he had speaking to this new girl whilst we were together and felt he had lost all friendship privilges. Sometimes you just have to cut people from your life.

He probably doesn't want you to contact him in anyway if you ever felt like you wanted to again in the future.Thats what I did.And personally Facebook and them media sites are a bunch of drama they cause a lot of divorces and end friendships.Because of the bullshit people do on there for attention.Its sad people have to go on there just to communicate with people they know now.What happened to just picking up the phone or driving over to the persons house?lol sorry I ranted on about this but those sites are drama and hate them:p lol at that guy yes naked pics are cool everyone loves naked pics of random people they will never meet haha.
