Are Jockstraps becoming more popular in the gym?

I workout at least 5 times a week for 2 hours. I Always have worn a Bike or Under Armour jockstrap when working out. at first I noticed I was the only one at my gym that wore them, and this year I noticed more and more switching from compression shorts to jockstraps.

So in your gym, highschool, or locker room is there more people wearing jockstraps or has there always been a lot of people who wear them?

Do you wear them to work out?

Have you aver wore a jockstrap?

Would you be willing to try a jockstrap for working out? why or why not?

In my own experience, I prefer to wear a jockstrap when I'm working out at the gym, biking or swimming because (1) jocks keep my junk in place better than compression shorts and (2) compression shorts are too damn hot and constricting. However when it comes to contact sports like Football or Taekwondo I prefer the compression shorts because the proactive cup stays in place better with compression shorts.

I absolutely don't look around the locker room.

I wear a jockstrap. I wear mine over my boxer briefs. Just feels more comfortable.

I lift weight 5 days a week & I run at the gym 3X's a week. On Saturdays I run about 4.5 miles for 45 minutes. The times I've forgotten a jock I could feel a bit of pain down there the next day.

i don't look around. People parade around back an forth to the sauna and shower in their jockstraps so its not hard to notice.

Is it a gay gym? People parading around in their jocks? Why do you need one in the sauna or the shower. people in my gym have a towel wrapped around themselves.

im not sure. that's just how it works in this gym! is a very very big two story gym so maybe everybody is not comfortable being naked? people wear compression shorts or there swim suit, or jock into the showers and sauna and then just usually wrap a towl around before walking back to their locker. the only reason I know that is cause the sauna is at the end of the hall with the showers and the sauna has a big glass door looking down the hall, so its not hard to miss.

Jock straps are pld, outdated and going extinct. Guys now wear compression shorts.

The only time I ever wore a jockstrap was in high school for football and lacrosse, and that was just to house my cup. To be honest, I never knew people wore jockstraps without cups. I usually just swing free at the gym, or wear compression shorts if I'm going to be running. I probably wouldn't switch to the jock because I never liked the straps around my legs.

I don’t wear one when working out / never wore a jockstrap, I’m willing to try a athletic jockstrap for working out / for esthetic mainly since I wanted to wear something new and interesting, jockstraps look interesting / captivate me lol.
