I know a woman who is moderate or even liberal on most issues who describes herself as a feminist but says she's against abortion except in extreme cases. Struck me as odd.

Chuck nailed it. The values Democrats used to stand for—hard work, family, freedom, and love for country—are now being defended by Republicans. The left abandoned those principles in favor of radical ideology and cultural division. Chuck didn’t “switch sides,” the lines were redrawn around him. That’s why so many former Democrats now find themselves voting red.

Calling him “TACO Trump” because he adjusts tariffs isn’t the slam they think it is. That’s called strategy—testing pressure, gauging response, and pulling back if it risks the broader economy. It’s not “chickening out” to avoid collateral damage; it’s leadership. The same people crying that Trump is too aggressive will also mock him for showing restraint. Make it make sense.

Listen, I was rather bitter about the change of atmosphere in my hometown. Yes, it is changing, and it has taken a long time to adjust. I most certainly don't think all migrants are bad.

I am still against illegal immigration, although I do believe we need reforms in our immigration system.

Forcing a terrible candidate with a unlikeable personality on everyone then blaming racism and sexism for lack of support was a recipe for disaster that contributed to Trumps victory.

A recent study showed 25% of US young men are facing a loneliness crisis, called the "loneliness epidemic". US men ranked higher among western, developed countries.

I can see this. Women these days can easily cry "harassment" and "stalking", threatening a man's freedom, finances, and career. In addition, women are also very self-absorbed, give the cold shoulder, are less loyal, dangerous to throw a man under the bus, and are quick to reject. It seems like today, you need preconsent via dating apps or messaging to even approach a woman in-person with romantic intentions. The excessive boundaries are ridiculous, and the hookup culture and unrealistic expectations make matters worse.

I was lucky to find my fiance due to an arranged situation. I was 29 when I had my first real girlfriend. Better late than never, but if I didn't have the help, I would still be lonely today.
