A Mate in 549 is the longest eventual checkmating sequence known in which there are 7 pieces on the chess board in which it forces white to win with perfect play if black also plays perfect and delays the checkmate as long as possible. This position is a forced checkmate for White in 549 moves if both sides play perfect. I must admit that there is no way I can find any mate in more than 13 or 14 moves as this requires far too many potential outcomes to play in my head. I have found a mate in 11 in a game before and those are extremely difficult to find.

There is no known 7 pieces on the chess board mating process that takes more than 549 moves to accomplish with perfect play from both sides but do you think there is? It is also unknown if there is a scenario where it can take more. 549 may be the max for 7 pieces but we can't prove it.

Please share what you think after revealing the answer! I saw the answer and after like move 6, I was totally amazed. I know it looks like a draw but there actually is a way in which White has a guaranteed path to victory with perfect play and it can't last fewer than or more than 549 moves if both White and Black plays perfect.

Most of us are rather traditional, according to some people. We believe in two genders and generally do not support the concept of there being more than two genders.

I believe there are only two genders as well, but I still support homosexuality, and transgenderism. I think if a man feels like he will be happier as a woman, and if a woman feels like she will be happier as a man, then they should be able to change their gender.

However, some people do not transition completely and decide to stay as something between a man and a woman, that is something I do not think should be legal. If someone wants to change their gender, then they should have to transition completely, which includes hormone replacement therapy, sex reassignment surgery, and facial feminization surgery, for those transitioning from a man to a woman.

Having more than two genders or wanting to be something between a man and a woman is not psychologically healthy.

Those who were born as something between a man and a woman, I believe should have to transition to any one of the two genders, and I would support the government paying for their transition, though the government should not have to pay for the transition of someone who was born as either a man or a woman.

I should clarify that my position on this issue is not influenced by religion or conservatism, as I am neither religious nor conservative. I am a lifelong liberal, but I think that a lot of people who also identify as liberal are going too far and their actions could lead to societal collapse, which could then result in an ideological world war, and the world cannot survive another world war, since modern weaponry is too dangerous.

So I recently did some time locked up. And I was surprised at how many men still had an on going relationships while they were in person. And now that I'm out, at how many are finding new relationships with there history. I know there's a negative stereotype on people who have been to prison and I'm still a little paranoid of it... But have the times changed that much? So I want to know your opinion!

I am of two minds on this.. If she is a woman, she is not entitled to my seat, Full stop.. Sorry i was here first lady.. The only way this is different is if she is pregnant. I will gladly give my seat up for someone who is pregnant.

Don't you hate when people use inhumane methods to get rid of rodents? These creatures do not need to suffer. Of course there may be times you have to kill them as releasing them after a catch is unlikely.
