Will 2021 be a repeat of 2020 for sports seasons?

For sports seasons, do you think 2021 will be similar to this year?

Jess from what I understand the NBA is planning on starting a new season after the first of the year. I have no idea what they have in mind for playing games in the various teams' arenas. College basketball teams have already started playing with very little in person attendance. What MLB does is also up in the air. As for next year's football season, I think a lot is going to depend on how many people get vaccinated in order to get herd immunity and really decrease the rate of spread of the virus.

I think it will be very similar. Unfortunately I don't see things getting better anytime soon. I mean Biden wants us to wear masks the first 100 days of his presidency which takes us to May, and I'm sure that won't be the only precaution/restriction.

Not entirely. There may be a lot of safety measures still put in place but I think a lot of people will have been vaccinated going into the next year.

I think it will be much like the flu vaccine. Just like pre-Coronavirus times, those who wanted the flu vaccine had it and those who had the choice not to have it will be the ones at risk.
