Sonic is "the fastest thing alive" (that's not The Flash or Quicksilver). Sonic's base speed had him running at 767 MPH (1,234 KPH), but he's capable of much faster. In his speed running shoes, he can reach 3,840 MPH (KPH; Sonic Adventures DX). And with other special criteria (like Super Sonic), he is capable of moving at light speed and beyond.

The Road Runner has been proven to run at Mach 0.5, which is 383 MPH (617 KPH).

All things considered, Speedy Gonzalez has been proven to be pretty SLOW. It's been proven that he only runs at 22 MPH, which is slower than humans. Granted, it's almost three times faster than normal mice/rats, which run at 8 MPH.

And Taz only runs/spins at a normal Tasmanian Devil speed, which is 8 MPH (13 KPH).

Now, for option E: The Flash. How fast can The Flash run? Normal men can sprint at 15 MPH (24 KPH). And the fastest real life man is Usain Bolt, who can sprint at 27.8 MPH (44.72 KPH), making him almost twice as fast as an average man. The Flash (Barry Allen), however, has a typical running speed of 2,532 MPH (4075 KPH). He's capable of surpassing light speed in some circumstances, however.

The Tasmanian Devil = 8 MPH
Average Man = 15 MPH
Speedy Gonzalez = 22 MPH
Usain Bolt = 28 MPH
The Road Runner = 383 MPH
Sonic the Hedgehog = 767 MPH
Barry Allen Flash = 2,532 MPH

So if you count The Flash as a cartoon character, he's definitely the fastest. But if you don't, then Sonic is the fastest; twice as fast as the Road Runner. In the interest of the poll for these four chosen, I'll vote for Sonic. But really, The Flash is the fastest one here without special power-ups or conditions.

Probably the *roadrunner*. My 2nd choice is Speedy Gonzales, but his legs are shorter so that might make him a bit slower than the roadrunner. Taz has too much going on to get anywhere quickly (spinning, drooling, etc). And Sonic is just hard to compare to the other choices because I've never seen him in the Looney Tunes setting.
