Why is it FIFA World Cup 2022, Baseball World Series 2022, but Super Bowl LVI?

Why do you think that American Football Super Bowl uses Roman Numerals while other major sporting events (like the FIFA World Cup, Baseball World Series) just use the year?

there are two main reasons as to why the NFL goes with roman numerals, well three...

first, because it looks cool AF, second because NFL seasons are weird and confusing, you start a season in 2022 but you don't play the Super Bowl in 2022, you play it the next year 2023... so then you could say a Champion team was the one who won the season of the year 2022? or the championship of 2023?

that is confusing as fuck... so it is much more easier to say that champion team won the ~specific ROMAN NUMERAL~ events

meanwhile... in soccer and baseball, those events are played and also won in the very same ONE year they're celebrated, no confusion there... so you can just go with the exact year to name the season

If i may! It's nothing more than SIMPLICITY and efficiency. For example! No one says (do you remember the XVI world cup) or (who won the 18th wormd cup) but what you hear is the simplest as (98 world cup was different).

The Super Bowl has been using Roman Numerals since about Super Bowl I. That's just what someone chose back in 1967.
