What if gendered sports was abolished…and it was just based off skill?

We could have kid sports just based off skill, maybe have multiple levels depending how good they are. If a chick makes a team with other boys, go with it.

Growing up a lot of girls played in boys teams in athletics, soccer, football, basketball and wrestling but as soon as puberty hit the boys the girls were no longer able to compete. Why shouldn't girls and women have their own sports that have nothing to do with men?

If you did away with gendered sports it would very much be a situation like how trans women currently dominate women's sports when they compete, just not fair. You only have to look at how us women's soccer team were repeatedly trashed by boys teams, retired over 50s men's and Wrexham.

Just imagine if 15 year old BOYS can beat Australian NATIONAL women's football team which was top 5 in Female soccer in the WHOLE world... do you think it's even fair for high school girls to go against them?

Chick WON'T make it to boys team because it's not Hollywood where a cringe girl boss can easily use plot armor to beat everyone

There is a FEMALE DIVISION for a reason... it's for women athletes to have a fair chance and show their skills.. because if there was no women's division female athletes won't have a career

I mean it sort of is that way.. like if a woman was actually good enough to make it into a major sports league I think they would. And I'm fine with that, women are good at other things. I'm sure part of it is sexism or whatever, but I think the main reason we don't see any women in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, whatever soccer has, is because we don't have the size or stamina to keep up. I mean honestly, the best female WNBA player would probably struggle to make an NBA roster. It's why when a dood competes against girls/women they often dominate.

I always vote for integrating sports. People who say they shouldn’t and that men would just dominate etc. they already do. Nothing would change except maybe seeing a woman as a kicker on a football team or something. Big deal, not like the NFL gives enough of a shit to actually help their players when they all get severe brain damage for doing this as a career anyway. At least she would get paid the same millions for being on their team rather than some miserable pickings bc women’s teams don’t get as much attention.

To put it simply, Sports are gendered for Girls not for boys. If sports was gender neutral girls won't make it , that's the truth.

World's best Serena Williams loses to a Man who is 600 or something in Men's league , so basically like a Pro Tennis player said, Serena would be easily ranked above 1000 or more even if she was the #1 in Women's

In other words, Serena Williams won't even be famous of recognized if Tennis was gender neutral , this applies to almost every sport

And when it comes to combat sports , you're putting women's life at danger , considering how a Trans guy fractured a woman's skull

at young age, maybe ok as girls are as strong. once puberty, forget it.

It's ok to have integrated sports where people agree to it... e. g. "open league". But womens should be for women.

I competed against girl and was ok in some domains, but not others.

That's not how sports works.

Sports is a business and a product. Skill and talent is a part of it, but the large majority is about spectacle, rules, rivalry and following.

Female sports is different medically, financially and physically from male sports. To an uneducated watcher like yourself it all "looks the same".

But everything from the equipment to the training is very different for males and females.

won't work for fighting sports. If a guy beats a girl, his good reputation is gone for good. If the girl wins, she'll be called with manly names, accused of being allowed to win and so on.

It could work out in ball sports, gym, trac & field. Dont forget boat, car and plane based sports. Let alone, lets never forget chess and other board games where physical contact and streangth means nothing.

In a beauty contest, I will never vote for a male or a half!

It's a really dumb idea, and very few females would play. First, the vast majority of females would never make the team. And second, most of the ones who did make the team would get injured, which would be a discouraging factor for all girls. And finally, most guys would hold back on the girls to avoid hurting them, which is very unfair to boys.
