Well Lawson was a poor choice to begin with. The Red Bull environment does not nurture young drivers well. Marko is too old school. However the problem is the car not the drivers. Its too tricky to drive unless you are Max. This strategy is fine if all you want is to win the Drivers Championship but to win the Constructors you need points scored regularly by both drivers.

Maybe scandal adjacent. It's more completely unheard of to drop a driver you just promoted to a top team, back down to the team you just promoted them from after just 2 out of a total of 24 races they were set and contracted to race in.
