What would you think if a girl was on a boys baseball team?

I had a girl on my 8-9 yr old team, the coaches daughter, and she sucked ASS but played the only positions that are any fun in little league... so one time after sitting in the outfield for like 30 minutes with nothing going on, the ball was hit kinda my way but far enough away where I'd just be running over to pick it up and throw it to "Taylor" (her name). she started screaming GET THE BALL GET THE BALL. I just stood there. EVENTUALLY her daddy said "TAYLOR GO GET THE BALL" and she ran all the way there to pick it up Lmao.

If a girl wanted to play on my team, I’d let her. Especially if there are no other opportunities for her to play a sport.

A lot of girls back in the day were shunned from sports since it was seen as the ‘masculine’ thing, then someone down the road made an exception to the rule which allowed more girls to grow up with the ability to show athleticism which came a growing number of girls growing up to be interested in watching, participating, and joining in on sports competitions which is a lovely sight to see. “Follow your dreams kids!” was the message I grew up with, so to see you can do anything & be anybody is motivating and powerful.

Softball, Tennis, Volleyball, and more were made available for the girls in my school (s) growing up so it is nice. I’d let a girl on my team since that is a kind thing to do.
I will say I sucked at sports and I got better as time went on, everyone starts somewhere.

baseball, soccer... softball, even in football

this is very common in sports for kids, not a big deal

as for being bad at it... both boys and girls can be bad at sports, but they are kids... and that's how you get better, eventually...

At that age, I don’t think there is much physical difference so it would prob be safe, but I do think it’s good for boys to have “boys space” and girls to have “girls space” so it would be better not to do that for any kind of long term organized team I think. But I was expecting this to be about a high school team and I was going to say, there could be safety issues, I guess baseball isn’t the most dangerous sport anyway though.

My sister was on a boys baseball team because no girls baseball existed. I’ve also nearly married a woman I met on here that played ice hockey, that’s right ICE HOCKEY, for the San Antonio Rampage men’s minor league team. Yes she would drop gloves with the men. She was also a black belt in karate. She later lost use of her legs and started playing sled hockey with the wounded warriors in San Antonio

Depends on skill, attitude and what level the team is on.

If she actually contributes to the team, then I'd probably be fine with it.

As a kid I had a girl on my baseball team called Rachel so I think is fine since we were all mostly 9 and 10 years old.

She was a decent 3rd base because at that age the kids don't throw hard nor hit the ball hard neither.
