Bare knuckle attracts a different crowd than elite boxing or MMA. Many are tough regional brawlers, past-their-prime pros, or guys with limited amateur backgrounds looking for quick paydays and exposure.

Without big money, deep talent pools, or long camps, technique often looks sloppy. On TV you mostly notice the worst offenders, so it feels like “all clowns,” but there are a few legit skilled strikers in there too. 🥊

Most of these guys telegraph their punches by a mile when they punch.

The best fight they ever had on there was Austin Trout vs Palomino, but both of them were retired world class Boxers.

A good punch comes from standing guard and should penetrate a point 2 to 4 inches beyond the surface of intended target, and then come back to standing guard immediately, with torquing from your balls of your feet through your hips and shoulders all at once as you release the punch.

Most of these clowns throw very wide looping hook punches, or else rare back and telegraph their straight punches, like they've never had any classical Boxing or Martial Arts training whatsoever.

I'd prefer to fight MMA, but I am 46 years old for real, so no promoter will give me a match.

I have beaten local professional boxers by boxing rules before in the past.
