I'm a little late with this. I just found out that for the next 5 years Formula 1 will only be on Apple TV in the US. They've been trying to build enthusiasm in F1 for years and now they do this. I've been watching off and on since 1997 but now I'm locked out. I can't have Internet access at home and I'm not going to pay to watch it on my phone. What do you think?

That would frustrate me too 😕. Locking big events behind one streaming service always cuts out loyal fans, especially those without reliable internet. It’s similar to how some tennis slams moved to paid platforms only, and a lot of older fans just stopped watching. It may grow revenue short term, but it hurts grassroots passion and casual viewership long term.
