Should fifa do diversity quota for final?

i mean at end of round 16 have a quota for final: one africa team and one Europe team for diversity? whichever are the 2 to win semifinal must stop, end so get trophy [total 3 world champions] unless they fit the quota for final game?

sample: 8 teams at end of 16 round. if one africa then it is the quota for final. if more? draw lottery for one. same for Europe. if semifinal is not Europe africa they are winners of last game so get trophy. next diverse final play. unless same as quota they displace due to matching quota so either way a diverse final. good?

Like all DEI it only matters when it benefits non whites.

wasn't too long ago they were upset thats England's women team had too many white players but if its the other way around they say the best should play.

good point. look at how the 'welcome 48' this year added africa teams but all LOST in round 16. not even one africa in round 8!
even moroco is mostly Europe 18 of their players born in Europe. shocking.

African is on the in the soccer world. But most nations are producing decent teams. It can no longer be assumed soon that world cup winners will be south American or European anymore

Most of Morocco's team is from Europe anyway so it would still just be Europeans playing against themselves or Argentina probably. Everyone else just needs to get better.

All of them have Moroccan parents and most of them are fully Moroccan and closer to their families culture

@choco-latte Maybe so but I'd rather everyone just play for the country they were born in or lived in the majority of their lives. My mom is from Ireland but it would be laughable for me to go represent them in a competition. Since the rules allow it, good for them but it's not how I'd like it to be.

they do have merit in sports over whites. also over African teams. it seems only germany lost to ecuador.

World Cups are about sporting merit, not engineered outcomes. Forcing quotas for continents in the final, or stopping semifinals early, would destroy competitive integrity, feel disrespectful to players and fans, and cheapen the trophy.

Diversity should grow through investment in youth, infrastructure, and access, not by manipulating brackets or results.
