In soccer, baseball, and boxing yes. That’s because all 3 of those sports are popular in certain Spanish speaking countries. For example the Hispanic Caribbean and Venezuela love baseball the most, and often boxing - soccer not so much, most of South America loves soccer the most and are generally good at it, Mexico loves soccer, boxing, and some baseball. Spain loves soccer, some other sports like Tennis in which they have had good athletes as well.

So it’s mostly about the interest these communities have in particular sports, soccer (football) in particular is almost like a religion in most Spanish speaking countries… and when they like something they are very passionate about it, so the drive and sports culture in these countries is what creates success.

Basketball is somewhat popular yes, but not as much as the other three.
