i dont think any child under 18 should have access to the internet at all, or cellphones and social media, they are mature or repponsible enough to deal with that kind of trash, as parnets we are supposed t protect our kids, not poison them

Eww bro you're gonna ban your teenagers from the internet? They will just go on behind your back and have zero guidance.

Outright banning the internet isn't the answer

@Prof_Don dont have a tv, haven't in over 20 years, when i lived at home, before coming here to take care f mom, i was off-grid, raised my kids semi-off-grid, taught them how to live simply and be able to take care of themselves, turns out it was a good thing, everyone of my 4 daughters married an asshole that thinks he's still 16 and doesn't have a care in the world except where his next high is coming from

Yes children are very impressionable, their view are easily influenced by youtube celebrities, rappers or some edgy guy on the internet, but not their math teacher for example

He has something that their Math teacher can't have (in most cases) charisma- ability to influence people in their favour. And entertainment value.

Besides people are conditioner to perceive math as boring and difficult

@Schrodingerscat I genuinely feel sorry for people then DD:

Yup turns out I have zero charisma lol I make even the simplest concepts more abstract and confusing and I fucking love it, that's why kids who listen to me tend to be Olympiad medalists 😂

Wow that's certainly nice. The kids who listen to you are not what we call mass public. They're already very smart.

But sadly, charisma is what attracts masses. And don't worry Hun, even Hitler had charisma and we know how it turned out 😂😂

People who roast can usually take criticism. Yet every time he's even remotely roasted he throws a temper tantrum. If he can't take it he should never dish it in the first place.

I know that if you agree with me, by Onision's standards, you don't live in the real world and you've been anti Onision from the start, and you hate him now.

That's what Onision does to his fans, he belittle them and makes them believe they're idiots if they don't agree with him, when in reality it's the other way around.

So what? It is up to the individual to distinguish what is right and what is wrong, what is the truth and what is a lie. Learning is a process, but even school teach things that are no longer true simply because it would be too expensive to print new textbooks. There can never be too much information. Another example, religion, it is all bullshit yet it has milions of followers. Just because you don't agree with something doesn't mean people should be blocked from accesing it.

Children in this generation have so little connection with actual people in their life to the point that they believe this man's opinion more than the people who make 35 k a year and want to see students actually succeed in life.
While Jake Paul antagonizes the belief in actual education just because he got lucky and became Vine famous.

Children do not suddenly decide against what Jake Paul is saying unless it directly attacks them, and who is to say they won't even if he does.

Children are sponges, they absorb anything that they can. An education is the pursuit of knowledge, and these YouTubers are just intolerant and opinionated to the point of manipulation of information.

False information is not educational, looking though a trash can is not exploration, and there are PLENTY of ways a child can be "educated" without using YouTube.

This isn't about censorship. if you actually read the myTake, you'd know I simply want parents to realistically educate their children, instead of just letting them form an identity based on people who walk around pointing a camera at themselves. These YouTubers are not the only example of terrible toxic Creators, they are simply an outline for many others that exist.

If people are too lazy to realize how impressionable kids are and actually try to parent them in a less hands off fashion they'd have little to worry about.
