Alternative jump button for gaming on PC?

Okay so I’m going on holidays in a week and I want to bring my gaming laptop as a source of entertainment in the evenings but here’s the issue. My laptop is old and the space bar is worn out and doesn’t really work anymore. I have an external keyboard that I use but I’m trying to pack light and I don’t really want to bring it. The only alternative I can think of is changing the keybindings on my game settings to use a different jump button other than space bar (which is default for most games). Is there another key I can use as a temporary jump button other than space bar? I just don’t want to press any button combinations that will complicate my system.

Any button close to space will do, B or V or C... see which one you can reach most comfortable and isn't used by the game.

Also if you are using a mouse with more than the standard left-right-scroll wheel buttons, you can map jump to one of these.

H. H is out of the way enough you won't hit it while using your normal key bindings, but it's still close to the space bar and is the easiest to hit of the alphabetical keys.

Some laptops have left and right CTL buttons. Use one of those maybe?

As long as it’s not a hot key with the WASD keys

I've used the X or B buttons as a jump key. It didn't bother me.

Use X it's close to the space bar and since the keys for movement are WASD and you probably hit space with your left thumb x is the best option

Ah that’s a good one. I was thinking ALT but of course if I accidentally press tab then it will close out of the game window lol

Use scroll wheel so you can bunnyhop easily. Or if you're not playing a game where bunnyhopping is a thing then my goto would be L Shift and pushing whatever was on shift before down to L Ctrl

Right Alt would be easiest.
