Why did one message on kik stay on bold d? Did they not receive my message?

So I sent a message to a friend and it stayed at status d. Never got a response for four days. Messaged them again and they responded. Though the message that they never replied to still says d next to it. Which I know that means it wasn’t read. How is that possible when the messages after it was read?

That means that somehow your friend missed reading that message

How is that possible? If they opened the app wouldn’t it just come up as read

Hmm. Good question I think the message actually has to sit in their screen. If they scrolled right past it it might not register as Read. Or it could be a glitch in the system. If it’s important I would resend it.

Wasn’t important but it would explain why I didn’t get a response. Also would explain why my friend stopped messaging. Thinks I didn’t reply to the last message

Possible she has been blocked by the receiver
