Yes and I was so stupid.
I was... I can't remember how old I wa. I think I was 15, right, so I was playing Roblox and was playing one of the games. My mom given me money so I spent it on a Roblox card to get Robux. If you don't know, Robux are Roblox money you can spend only in Roblox. You can buy things from any game you play (boosters, etc) or you can visit the Roblox shop and shop for some clothes, emotes, how your avatar walks, run and jump. There are also "games" that are warestores or clothing stores where you can buy the most coolest clothes, hairs, back accessories, shoulder accessories, tails, ears and all of that stuff. The Roblox store does have those things, but what they sell are pretty much limited.
Back to my story, I was in a game and I was wearing some stuff I had bought in that same game and Robux accessories. The person had told me that Roblox was shutting down and to friend him so I can follow him into another "game" so I can save my account. I followed him. There was this "log-in" screen just like the one you use when you're logging into Roblox. So I typed in my username and password and I asked the user, "What now?" And he didn't reply back. I got out of the game, thinking it was all bullshit until I noticed something wrong and I think I was logged out of my own account. Everything including my Gmail had changed so I now there was no turning back. I did create a new account under a different name.

Yes, that happened to me on Facebook. I looked at the activity history of my page and saw that it was being signed into regularly in a city and state that I hadn’t been to for about 15 years. This is the place where my ex lived. I’d moved there to live with him.
To fix it, I changed my settings so that I had to also verify my identity by Facebook texting my cell phone every time that I logged in. That stopped the problem. After I did that, I never saw my account logged in from that location again.
I had been, when I was a kid. In a mmo game, because I was greedy af. lol.
Pretended to be an admin, gave my user/pw.
Good thing I was new back then, only had a few weeks worth of stuff.
Still, damn my greediness and stupidity. lol
Well, some lessons are learned the hard way.
I had one of my credit cards hacked. The credit card company saw a weird charge from a faraway place. They were the one that called me to ask if I made the charge. When it was determined it was a phony charge I was told the account would be closed and I would receive a new card.

There was a 15-16 yr old kid who would get into our system within three hours of school letting out, every day. This was back when most people still had dial-up, but we had high speed. He would remove all our stuff, and block us, while creating his own account, connected.
We didn’t know who did it until the idiot parked in front of our house at 2 am trying to get as close as possible to find our old wifi signal attempting to connect, (we switched to hardwired) I could see his screen lighting him up, I shot out the front door at him and he pealed out. Pressing charges was pretty easy at that point, he lived across the street and two houses down. Dumb ass.
Couple other even more serious issues after that too. Different people.Yes, I was hacked before and it was the worst day of my life once I discovered it and understood everything that was happening…
It has completely changed the way I interact with people, I’m not as open to giving out my number or social media info. I also tend to not accept random friend requests. I won’t even touch them out of fear of being hacked again.
The person who hacked me says that they’re able to watch me on my devices no matter if they have new emails, numbers, social media accounts, passwords, etc.. and i believe it because I see suspicious activity on all of my accounts.. (which means it’s the same person or someone else doing it) the guy who hacked me was arrested a few years ago, but I honestly believe he’s still up to it.I had that ransomware virus on my computer once. I lost a couple years worth of family photos (kids were little) and some business documents.
Thank God no but my ex knew how to do it and I was ALWAYS paranoid he’s hack into my server and find anything.
My Gmail account. One of them. I changed the password. If they were trying to find bank details to drain anything from me, they would have been shit outta luck. I don't keep my money in the bank lolI downloaded a crack that installed ransomware on my laptop. Same as before, they wouldn't have found anything worth exploiting. I deleted all the affected files (even if they were important), massive clean up, etc. Eventually, I got a new laptip and the old one gathering dust in a drawer.
I got hit with ransom ware, luckily all of my external storage was disconnected and I'd done a back up the day before, so I did a military grade system scrub and did a fresh install. All it cost me was a couple of hours of wasted time with no important data loss.
Most people are hacked. have probably been since early 1990'.
Especially our smartphone's.
It's a lot of money to make of it if you know how to use the data.
Do you have any check on what's going on.
Nothing is private unless you are a fanatic person that modify your electronics that has some sort of software. even electronics without any sort of software can many times be used to secondary tasks.
Reality is stranger than fiction.Yeah - and I had people mistreat me when I talked about it cause they thought I was lying.
I got my Facebook and Twitter accounts hacked a few times before. Of course I don't use Twitter anymore and that happened on my old FB account so whatever. Apparently a past bank I was associated with got hacked but I was never personally affected.
In my world of warcraft days my account got hacked. Thankfully I have friends and nipped that shit in the bud quick
haha i have been 'hacked' before ya
they just kinda found out my password and now have personal picturesNo. And I most likely never will. I am a non-exposed target with the k ow-how about hardening and proper ITSec, with active defense measures.
They can try, but they will have to work for their money. If you hacked me, it means you hacked the entire server.
Nah i never got hacked or something.
I used to get a lot of viruses tho but thats an ez fixOnly once I noticed. So that's the only time I can say I have been hacked.
