My iPhone only works when I have it connected to a charger so I’ve bought a Samsung A12.
How do you transfer WhatsApp contacts & messages from iPhone 5s to Samsung A12?
Will your old messages & photos still be there or will they be deleted?

You can create a cloud based backup in whatsapp, and thats based on your phone number, so the phone doesn't matter.

In Whatsapp, settings -> data and saves you should find it.

at least thats how it worked between my different samsung phones.

Just backup your messages on Google Cloud in your iphone. Then loadup whatsapp and log into your Goggle account on the Samsung and restore.

You can transfer WhatsApp messages from iPhone to Samsung via email. This method allows you to see the WhatsApp messages on your Samsung although you may not be able to sync them onto the device. The steps are as follows.
