Recently went iphone. Pretty disappointed to be honest. For such and innovative company, Im suprised that it seems to be on a toddler level. First, they can't even implement a damn universal home or back gesture... for worried about other companies apps but they allow them to override these gestures? At the opening screen of an app and swipe back it does nothing, instead I have to switch gestures to go home screen... or its that dumb back arrow thats the furthest away from reaching... too many instances where you can't copy texts, too many things require unnecessary extra taps to reach when the info should be right there... there call log histort blows, can't search messages properly, siri sucks or doesn't (assistants should suck) 🤣. I could go on but nah, Android has its issues as well. Seems that too often where one fails the other succeeds... never had an android last more than a year and half, my son has an i8... so may spend a some extra money but seems to last... but society is at a point where these two companies aligned with facebook can do whatever they want, and have the power and legal standpoint for the most part to do it... but whats legal matter if the is noone to enforce it... we shoulnt even be paying for phones or service either... do you pay your employer to go to work? We pay these companies so they can make more money off us... product consumer

Apple, because my ex gave me her old iphone and then I realized how great it was, so when it came time to replace it I bought another iPhone. I had been all PC before, but I realize that Apple products are very nice, intuitive, well built, and well thought out.
The downside to them is they cost more and it's a bit of a compatibility thing that is addictive. The phone pairs so well with the tablet and laptop, now I have all three and I'm very happy with how easy I can just touch the screen and send a file over to my tablet to work on, then swipe and send it right back to my laptop to save a backup copy, then upload to my school, assignment complete. Contacts and passwords all remembered on all my devices, I can pick up a call on my phone and send it over to my laptop for a larger FaceTime interface... I could go on, but there are many articles written on the benefits of Android vs. Apple.
To me, it mostly comes down to price, and I don't mind paying a little extra to get a little extra.
Apple products work exceptionally well together which is the main reason I have an iPhone as I also have an iPad. Nothing compares to Air Drop, you can start writing a message, note or document on one device and continue where you left off an another, I can take a phone call from any of my Apple devices, I can copy text from one device and paste it onto another which is really useful and you can even use your Mac’s mouse or trackpad to control the cursor on your iPad and vice versa.
I have an Android, Apple to me in my opinion is a little overrated. Plus I also have heard from people that Apple's battery life is not all that cracked up to be plus the system has a view issues here and there especially when it comes to the storage.

I'm forever an Android user.
- Apple always seems to restrict you to use their specifically approved apps/functions. I still recall how appalled I was when I found I couldn't copy music from a friend's iPad years ago.
- There is more freedom and customization options.
- If I recall correctly, iPhone can't be charged with other brands' chargers, you need specific Apple hardware to use iPhone. That's so limiting.
- iPhone batteries also seem to die really quickly from something as simple as using phone data for internet rather than WiFi.
- The price is so high when there are cheaper Androids that do better
I never owned an iPhone, but some of the limitations I'm reading about here definitely make me less willing to own one.Android...
Ever since I saw one of the first Macintosh computers, I have disliked Apple as a company. Apple believes that they know better than the users of their products, force the user to do things the Apple way, and prevent the user from doing things their own way. There is little customization one can do with an iPhone.
Android users can customize their phone pretty much any way they want. They can change the user interface, add and delete whatever apps they want, and have the freedom to be themselves.
Yes, that's the difference. Apple is like Big Brother in 1984. Android is for individual freedom.I'm not a fanboy, but I have used iPhones and iPads for years. I find I get longer service from them! My last droid lasted about 8 months. Crashed when I was out on location in Arizona years ago. Caused me to be out of contact at a VERY critical time! At the time this happened almost 80,000 people were without power because there was an equipment failure. I thankfully was able to get to a phone about 30 minutes later and guide a technician on how to restart some critical equipment. I'm leaving a lot out of that story! Having my POS phone choke during a critical time was unprofessional and my reputation was damaged. let me phrase it this way! If your power was off for almost 30 minutes because some systems engineer had a cheap phone to fail, how would you feel? I bought an iPhone and never looked back. Now, some of these new droids are MUCH better, but after all these years my iPhone is like the energizer bunny!
Android is in principal better because it is an open system and has more respect for the user. Android can be fully rooted and modified and customized on the system level. Apple can't and never will. Apple has total contempt for their users and treats them as stupid children.
However, my iphone got stolen last week and apple has technology to track their phones and shut them down before the thief can access the info. And it is very expensive to jailbreak and fix a stolen phone to make it accessible. The local DA is gonna get all the evidence on my iphone tomorrow and hopefully justice will be done.
six of one, half a dozen of the otherFirst of all we need to understand what are we buying. Apple offers you Apple care and what they call better phones.
Android only offers the phone and the warranty that comes from the brand.
If this is enough for you pick one.
However we need to understand, that both systems come from UNIX, they both have the same processing core software.
So which one is better, as in process power? Depends on the technology used, which both will have the same at the same time.
Are you willing to spend $1000 for an IPhone, vs the $500 of an android for the same technology? That is your pickThough apple has great firmware, they get slowed down by apple to force people to buy the newer version, the casing is shite though and doesn't protect the hardware. The accessories are all overpriced as well. it's overpriced because apple knows it can do so because they are a monopoly.
Android tends to be very user friendly firmware & hardware, along with being the most affordable, the protection firmware is decent, but i recommend getting a better protection software like Bitdefender. The casing of andoid phones are durable, but a hybrid bumper case is recommended. The other nice thing about android is the accessories for the phones are super affordable. Androids downside is the amount of preinstalled apps, which isn't too bad, most are commonly downloaded apps like youtube, music player, & so on, but unwanted core apps can be disabled & updates removed to make it small.
Needless to say I have an androidI have an android mostly because it's affordable and iPhones are too complicated for me to understand. I tried to use my boyfriend's iPhone7 and got stuck on the lock screen for 10 minutes before giving up.
I have, and always will prefer, Android over iOS (or any Apple product).
I used to be all Apple in the 80's and mid 90's, then their whole outlook on their consumers changed.
I normally prefer open source over proprietary/closed systems anyway, and Android falls in this category aswell.I have Android, mostly because that is what I'm familiar with and don't have any use for an iPhone for that expense. All of the "cool" stuff on an iPhone I'd rather use a desktop for anyway. I used to really like the Windows phone, but got tired of not having any aps for it. I've had company phones for decades and they're always Android.
DROID POWER. Seriously, they have a lot of computing power. They also suck down a lot of power if you have too many background apps running, so take care to shut down the ones you don't need at the moment, and have the charger in your car or otherwise when you need to charge up on the go.
I started with Android because that's what I could afford at the time. It was an entry level Samsung. I stayed with Samsung because of some features I like and it's easier to move stuff to another Samsung when I upgrade. Also, with Android, I could increase storage by adding a microchip.
Android. Its what I know, its what I use. and they are much more in line with their actual value in terms of asking prices. Apple are overpriced and honestly never been a fan of the company except for when Ipods were first appearing on the market. I did love my Ipod classic
I just want phone that works and I won't have to take loan for it. I'm not that rich/stupid to pay even 8 times the price of Android phone. This is how expensive this crap is in my country. If I had the money to buy the best iPhone 13 I'd rather buy myself a car for the same price or even lower and buy Android phone for the rest of the money
I've had iphone, but honestly it was so overpriced for the quality that I used it for. And I'm always dropping my phone and I needed my battery to last longer. I'm glad I switched to android. I think the iphone's battery has improved, but I really like my android.
I have used windows phone for years. I considered windows phone the best system for phones, simple and fast. When it was dimissed by nokia I switched to Android.
Apple systems are extremely expensive as they can be efficient, the price is not worth the items.
I use an android phone which is a tool and not an expensive toy, a status symbol or an alternative to my sexual potency such as an iphone.I have Apple. Mostly because it integrates with so many other peripheral products so easily. My MacBook, iPad, watch and phone easily set up and share information.
Kind of just got sucked in to the ecosystem I guess.I use Android phones, I refuse to pay through the nose for an Apple product that they intentionally do not give any support for repair, where as with Android phones I know I can walk in to virtually any repair shop and have a screen or battery replaced in under 20 mins.
I refuse to buy an Apple products. They are over priced and their business model is completely unethical. They make devices and purposely slow them down and have for years. They refuse to let you repair your own product without taking it to them specifically and paying for an overpriced repair.
Apple products are extremely over priced and they they don't even work that well. iphones and apple products in general don't work well, I don't like the interface and apple. products especially the iPhones are just a Fad.
My Android is much easier to use, does everything an iphone can do at an affordable price and there are so many different designs and brands of androids you can try out.Android because iPhone stole Samsung ideas to begin with!
Android is also cheaper, runs smoother, and is not priced mainly because of the branding!
