Android vs iPhone: which do you personally prefer and why?

Which do you prefer? Not which is technically better but which do you prefer.

Android is a failed project in my mind. The promise of an open source operating system that anyone could edit or add to but all the trickiest parts like Bluetooth and so on would be handled by a multibillion dollar company was exciting.

In the beginning, you could piece together launchers and mods to make your phone objectively the best one.

It had bugs and glitches that were never addressed. Samsung made a flavor that I think it's become pretty clear, they'll never be beat in a way you can still customize the phone and android failed to come up with an answer to facetime.

And to top it all off, Apple has either copied or built on every feature that I really cared about on android in the first place.

I have a Hotspot on here, there's apps that do almost everything android apps can do. Does it kinda suck not being able to root my phone anymore? Sure. But my phone works, having facetime has been a major impact on my life and since switching I can genuinely say I haven't felt like I've left anything behind.

I'm an Android mobile person.

I had an old phone that I used to phone and text people with, and someone suggested I needed to upgrade because there was so much I was missing out on.

I took their advice but I bought a cheap mobile just to discover the new technology.

About this time I started a new job, and at break times people were all busy on their mobiles except for me.

I became very friendly with a female at work and she had a mid range price Samsung, and she seemed to be very happy with her mobile, so I bought a similar one.

We've both since replaced our mobiles with upgraded Samsung mobiles, and I'm still very happy with my Samsung Android mobile.

Samsung, and I have been using it for 4 years and It is really good in terms of lag and speed. It’s also great when it comes to storage. I think if a phone handles the basic functions well, that’s enough. There’s really no difference between a very expensive flagship phone and phone that’s simply good enough. I’ve actually quit using smartphones. I only use fashional keyped phone. But I use smartphone without simcard only for check important whatsapp messages. I recommend that. that changed my life a lot. In conclusion , I have been samsung user for 4 year and Its still works well without trouble. I recommmend.

iPhone, I find it easier to use and find the physical appearance of the phone more aesthetically pleasing.

Android, well specifically Samsung by a lot. I started out with the Treo 750 and then heard of the iPhone in 2007. Didn't buy it because of price, but got in on the 3g. That was kool until the 3gs after the 4 came out. Anyway, Apple really stopped innovating after Jobs died and Android more than caught up with open source that didn't require jailbreaking.

Cheap and cheerful and does the jobs that I want from it.
However others may be fans of iPhone instead or more expensive phones
