So I want to watch the coachella livestream when it starts. I want to watch the ‘Front Row Coachella 2022’ channel on their YouTube.

I saw something online about how it may not be available to watch for people in certain countries. I’m in Australia, and so far I’m able to watch the 30 second teaser they have on their channel, so does that mean I will be able to watch the livestream?
I feel like if it was going to be blocked in my country, I wouldn’t be able to watch the 30 second trailer... am I right in thinking that?

Australia is famous for blocking international content due to geographic copyrights and stuff...

a VPN would be your best choice here, but they have a price

maybe you can try with the browser Brave, in which you can open a private window with Tor, and it might have some VPN feature that will mask or change your IP to an American or UK one

Most likely that's correct, but it's not for certain. Laws and regulations can be very odd and intricate things.

As others have suggested, a VPN may help. But keep in mind that not all VPNs are good and have your best interest at heart.

Most likely, but whether it's good for someone depends on their budget. I use NordVPN. Their speeds are really great, their customer service is amazing, they have a TON of servers in most places (so you can spoof your location as many different places, kt also means their security is likely betyer since a VPN will bounce your connection beteeen many different countries), and they're one of the top-dogs of the industry. But they might be pricey to some.

If they're pricey to you, I suggest Surfshark VPN, as they're also one of the more well known/top dogs, but their pricing is WAY cheap. Like it's actually remarkable. It's just a few dollars a month, apparently. They claim to be a no-log policy (NordVPN does, too), but considering how low their pricing is sometimes I question that (they could make more money collecting your data and selling it, making them able to lower their prices). But who am I to suggest they're lying.

I don't use Surfshark (though I know they're very prevalent), so I don't know how they deal with Cyber Monday but NordVPN seems to consistently offer great deals on Cyber Monday. I always just wait for that day to buy a 3-year subscription for a great price. But if you need a VPN now, you obviously can't wait for that.

Considering you're new to VPNs maybe it would be best to throw 3 bucks at Surfshark just to see how you might like VPNs, and if you like it, later you can consider switching to NordVPN. (But keep in mind I'm unfamiliar with how speedy Surfshark is. NordVPN is great in that regard, though).

Alternatively, another top-dog is ExpressVPN.

I would not assume that because you could watch the trailer you can automatically watch the whole thing. Contact them and ask, or take your chances.
