Why does it takes so long to upload a YouTube video?

I'm uploading my first ever video in YouTube and it's taking so long. Internet and all is fine.

I noticed it takes longer for processing. Uploading part is completed in like 4-5 secs.

I don't know, internet connection, speed is one thing that can affect upload/download speeds. Another reason could be the length of the video, the quality ( HD etc) of the video.

These factors can affect the upload/download speeds.

Internet is fast and full. Video length is of 58 secs.

Well, then it is really strange.

Your internet service provider limits upload bandwidth of your connection. Sometimes helps changing your browser or using browser yt upload extensions that changes your upload port. Some ISP use upload port limiter and blocker to prevent file sharing.
