What's your favorite kind of computer?

My favorite cheap computer is the HP pavilion because it is made specifically to be customized and so if you know what you're doing it's actually an amazing computer to upgrade because you can get whatever you want out of it you can get pretty much the exact specs you want for a relatively cheap price.

However if you're looking for something on the expensive end I forgot the name of the computer shop but it's its own brand and there's been a few YouTubers who've actually had their own custom computers made by this brand and I don't remember the brand name which is sad because I've been wanting one for a few years now but their computers are like $3,000 I think and that's a lot of money that I don't have

Like it would take me 3 years to afford one of their computers and by that point there the computer would be old and there'd be something newer and better on the market which would also probably be more expensive and much more awesome

I'm in love with my cheap Chromebook because it's a laptop the responsiveness of a mobile device, and really has most things I need. Also, it has a linux kernel and you can install any type of Linux software you want on it. Java programs run super fast.

That being said, there will always be a special place in my heart for the Commodore 64, which was my first as a very young child. You plugged it into a TV and programmed it in BASIC. Everything was 8-bit, so part of the fun was trying to create graphics with just little blocks of bright colors on the screen.

I generally use ThinkPad laptops as it what I get from work and I can get old ones from them for my home. Tried various other brands but they are not as good.

The kind that sit on a desk and have a separate keyboard and mouse. I don't like those touch-screen thingys.

I built every computer I ever owned and many of the ones my parents owned growing up I either built or modified. From the first IBM PC 5150 I was modding computers... I think I only remember 2 computers my parents bought as branded computers, but they were modified in time.

I just buy the parts and build whatever I need in regard to desktops. I don't really like laptops and I use them as little as I possibly can. But when I have to use a laptop I generally buy one made by Asus as the build quality is generally very good and although they're expensive, they tend to last a long time.

What do you mean by "Kind"? I have always used Windows. I have a Windows 10 laptop by Lenovo. I might get a new one in a few years because this one is getting kinda old. But I am not upgrading to Windows 11 anytime soon.
