Would it worry you to know that your DNA information can be bought, sold and even weaponized?

So what I get a letter in the mail saying my DNA 🧬 was on a Murder Weapon and to go up to the police station 🚉 First off I wouldn’t go up to the police station 🚉 because that Wouldn’t be smart secondly. There’s not a single person that has my Face and even if they did Editing and put my face and everything the video footage.
Nobody has my personality and I wouldn’t pay any attention to such non sense and If I had to I would go on the run 🏃‍♂️ They can have fun trying to find me.
Plus cops in my city tend to give up and don’t like filling out paper work.
And I’ve had cops laugh at me for calling the cops on someone for something they thought was Ridiculous. I’m a bit of a cop caller
Everytime I hear a gun shot I call the cops I wouldn’t be surprised if they have memorized my address and voice by now considering how many times I’ve called the cops.
Haven’t been to jail in Years. I’ve called the cops on someone for stealing my Video games
That was delivered in the mailbox 📫 pretty sure If I was accused of something like that. Cops wouldn’t Take it very seriously.
Cops would probably Be like isn’t that they guy that called the cops on Someone for Eating his food and not doing the dishes after they finished there food 🥘
I’ve since grown since then and know how to Handle someone who does shit that is bothersome.
But I have a record when it comes to Calling the cops on things that make me look like a comedian.
But yeah I used to be a Very sensitive person but not anymore I don’t mess around with someone eating my food 🥘 and they will get out even if I have to use physical force or blunt Trauma to remove that person.

Nope I haven't. You want to know something worse that can happen? If you are a sequenced wild type organism, and then lets say you are genetically modified via experimental mRNA COVID vaccine that has a reverse transcriptase put into the sequence, then you are technically a genetically modified organism and can be patented. When someone owns a patent to a genetically modified organism, that sequence can not be legally used without a licensing agreement with the parent company because that company owns that sequence. In agricultural GMOs, there is often an included suicide gene in the sequence that can be triggered remotely often by aerosoles sprayed on a crop by airplane that will cause the organism to die at will when the genes are used illegally. When applied to humans, this would translate in to human ownership otherwise known as slavery. If they included a suicide gene in their gene therapy which is marketed as a "vaccine", then they could kill you at will. They would own you after all by the book.

I have not done any corporate tests though, as my family has very good ancestry records to begin with, so never felt the need.

They do what makes them money and I've already been in over 30 hacks in the last ten years, even before I was an adult.

I wouldn't do it myself for various reasons, but once someone in your immediate family has done it then the cat is already out of the bag. In my case a half brother was searching for my mum so had submitted DNA. It was great connect with him and he gets on really well with all the family, but sadly my mum had already died by the time he found us.

And then a few years later he was contacted by someone claiming to be the son of one of the boys in the family and it turned out to be me! He was already over 40yrs old at that stage and I never knew. We have since met and stay in touch. Funny old world.

In terms of other dangers in having your DNA out there I think some are real yes, but it's not worth worrying about as there is literally nothing you can do about it. It does make me angry that it is being used as a money making exercise by corporate arseholes though, and I think it could be abused not just by them but by law enforcement as well.

I've done multiple DNA tests through multiple sites, and tested my whole family. It's been really useful, and not even remotely harmful. Back when 23andMe had better health results, it accurately predicted my husband's lymphoma. It warned that my son is more likely to get prostate cancer. So, we know to be aware. As far as I'm concerned, they have protected/saved two of the people who matter most to me. I also found a long lost relative's child and reunited with them.

My sister asked me to take the test, and she paid for it. There were slight differences in our genetic makeup, but not much.  I spit in a cup, and she threw away her (my bother in laws) money. Fine.
