The one I took seemed pretty accurate. I was born in the UK got mostly British isles. Some French and German. Finish and Russian.
I googled my last name before doing the test and it said my name is Norman and Anglo Saxon origin
The Anglo-Saxons were a cultural group that inhabited much of what is now England in the Early Middle Ages, and spoke Old English. They traced their origins to settlers who came to Britain from mainland Europe in the 5th century.

I’m 100 percent European or white according to the test I did.
I would have found find it hard to believe if the test told me I have Asian, middle eastern or African ancestry but it didn’t.

no i dont want to give the government fresh DNA but i can't say I've never thought of it, i know im part italian, Argentinean, Ukrainian and i think part Venezuelan, im pretty aure i got more but this is enough for me lol

On youtube there have been identical twins and triplets who have taken the same test AND GOT DIFFERENT RESULTS. The ethnicity is an estimate rather than definitive.

I don’t believe mine was wrong. I have a British last name I knew that before taking the test. It makes sense I have British ancestry just by looking at my last name. Also my mother is a natural blonde which I believe is common in Germany. France is also boarded with Germany

Well that's good then. British surnames are correlated with genetic similarity.

Also according to this website Finland is the country with the highest percentage of natural blonde hair. My mother is a natural blonde so I assume she likely have Scandinavian heritage. I scored Finnish in my test as well

nope, though i'd love to. but i don't like the process i have to go through. it's kind of odd sending samples through the mail. I don't know who's hands they end up in or what they can do with it. i know for sure i'm italian, polish, English, dutch, stuff like that. i'm literally a bit of everything.

No I refuse to have my dna copied by corporations. I’ve read their small print after my mother did it, damn her. It says in black and white that they own the dna profile that is produced.

I’m sure it’s a legalese thing. Like iTunes says you can’t put stolen music files into it. (Wink).

I took 23 and me. I'm mostly Alaskan native but at the time i took it amarican native and far north east Asia was very similar. It makes sense with limited examples and the bering land bridge during the ice age.
