I'm in favor of a car that fulfills your needs, no matter what it is. And synthetic gas that's carbon neutral. 👌

If my company will pull their finger out, I hope to lease one in the near future. I'm interested in what you have against them?

The tech would have to reach Back to the Future's Mr. Fusion-level first.

I'm all for electric but also am a big fan of the combustion engine. I just don't think electric are practical in both range and price for me yet.

  How so? Petrol cars consume most of the energy for noise, smell, and other useless rubbish.

  A power plant is much more efficient than a single combustion engine. That’s the big difference in energy consumption regarding this topic. Combustion engines lose a lot of energy to heat, but power plants can use that heat to make more power where cars can’t.

  Yup. We'll have to convert our IC cars to compressed natural gas (pretty simple carburetor mod to make), replace the gas tank with a high pressure canister, and get home natural gas compressors to refill with :)
