Instagram is telling me my post has been shared, but it isn't showing on my page?

I usually post with my phone, but today I finally figured out how to post using a laptop.

My first post, posted fine, but the second post I tried it twice and NOTHING.

It says it posted, but it doesn't auto appear in my feed like on the mobile app. It makes me click a little X, and when I go back to my page, the post isn't there😕

I did have a large video file attached to it, but then why would it tell me my post has been shared when it hasn't?

Please help because I'm about to smash my computer!

The video files are in MP4 format and one was edited, in case that matter

I got it to post from my phone, but now I'm trying to post something else from my phone and I hit the post arrow and it doesn't do anything and crashes. I even rebooted my phone and still
