I have had a Samsung Galaxy A32 since July 2021 and it works great, but my screen is cracked up. There is an "excellent condition (refurbished)" phone on Amazon for $134. Should I buy this or just pay to get the screen repaired?
Fix it yourself, save money
Always always try to make stuff last decades, not monthly
Go to (I fix it. com) and learn how to do it yourself. Tell sell parts and tools for cellphones and more.
Once you learn it, you can make extra dough by fixing your friends & family stuff.
Now don't that seem a lot better then constantly buying money on another phone, when the old one works just fine

Your phone is just about 18 months old. Ancient in tech terms. Buy that phone on Amazon only if it is way newer than your phone. If you can afford it, look into a new phone with your carrier. The chip will be faster, you'll get more storage, and the camera will be exponentially better. Screens are often more expensive than getting a new phone so look at that as a last resort or what you can afford.
I have had one phone screen replaced and it never worked right after. Finger print. Nope. I’d click on an app and a different one would open. So. I think it’s a gamble. Ask them about warranty or what’s to be expected if you replace it. Definitely cheaper then buying a new phone but if it doesn’t work right. Then what.
If the phone still functions good you can just have the screen replaced for a lot less than buying a new phone. I paid a local gadget store to fix my android after I dropped it in a parking lot, they charged me $45 to replace the screen and it was done in under an hour.

Screen repair is probably around the same price or more, probably better off getting another phone

Just look here for the price of repair screen for your phone. Add the respective tax as per your state. Compare it to the refurbished phone. And then decide.
Getting a new phone is always a hassle... setting it up, resetting passwords, configuring it the way you want it, getting all your apps reloaded. If the cost to replace the screen is reasonable (it should be), then fix the phone and continue to enjoy what you're used to.
Note: A refurbished phone is not always a good phone. It's been refurbished because there was something really wrong with it.
Depends. Part prices are crazy right now. So it may be that it will cost 150 bucks to repair the screen.
Check a couple of shops before committing.
Refurb phones can be shit if you're not buying from proper sellers. Amazon isn't a refurb seller and a lot of those refurb sellers aren't genuine on there. So be careful.
Rule of fun with the flash touch screen phones, if you damage the screen, crack it or anything like that it's going to cos you more to fix and replace the screen so you might as well get a new phone.
If it takes more money to repair the screen, I would just buy a new phone got watch refurbished phones.
Really depends on the cost to repair your old phone, it's it around the same price as a replacement just get your old phone fixed, if it cost way more to fix then go with a replacement.
Everything though the cost would be about the same I would get your screen fixed. You know your phone works well. You don't know what had to be done to the other phone.
I'd go with repair unless you really want or just need a new one. Phones are getting out of hand as far as price goes.
If you were my hooker than definitely I gifted you new phone.
