Has your watchfulness ever paid off?

My mom made fun of me for saying I check my credit card, 1-3 times a day but this week I realized one of my cards was underpaid by around $4-5 because the credit card company readjusted my bill after the billing cycle deadline and if I had waited to check I would have had debt leftover.

Also I accidentally deleted important content once or twice this week by activating the overtype button through the insert key but I back up all my files by cutting and pasting everything in a duplicate folder with duplicate files so I did not lose my content. I did that for at least 2 years before these spontaneous text deletions in my file.
