Other - This website called Girls ask Guys, its the best.
@Aerissa_Jade Yes and no lol. About ten years ago I hated it to the core, even though I still stayed, but like it a lot more now. But the funny thing is all that time ago there was much more conversation here. Many more women would answer questions and comment on others a lot more than they do now, which I do miss. And you had a lot more women who were passionate about their answers and ideas just like the guys, even if you didn't agree with them, but that slacked off too. Also people here 10 years ago used to offer very solid, from-the-heart Takes and advice with serious life experience, especially from the older women. Not saying that doesn't still exist, but it was on a much deeper, human level than now.
All that is what I can say I would want back on this site.
Spotify
I love how it changed media. You ever in a person's home who are maybe 40, 50, 60 years old and often they have all this stuff like radios, tape players, record players, big back tvs, videos, dads, cassettes, speakers, books. I'm sure I'm missing some stuff but it's all displayed almost like it's furniture and it all takes up so much space. In 2022 I can do just as much with my phone and a flat screen TV, listen to thousands of songs or movies where to have that option before the Internet j would need a maybe whole house. I can't even recall the last time I watched a DVD or listened to a cd. An older person was recently describing to me recoding a song on a blank tape they borrowed from the library, that's so alien to me.
@Irishgirl02 You should come to my house and see my collection of old tech. This was my old stereo receiver I fixed up a couple of years ago.

I think it’s really just the access to immediate information. Whether it’s operating hours of a business to current events to sports to literally anything you can think of…just Google it, and you’ll likely come up with something.
YouTube is probably my favorite site/app. I can take a mini-class on almost anything. Do It Yourself projects or fix-it advice. Cooking. Sports nutrition. Bass fishing. I of course am responsible for doing the training, but I’ve learned like 80% of what I know about playing hockey from YouTube just over these past couple years. I’m no Wayne Gretzky, but I’m absolutely serviceable out there against guys who have played all their lives. If I didn’t have that, I would be so much farther back in my development as a player, I wouldn’t know shit from Shinola. But there are like half a dozen really good instructional channels with hockey coaches/experienced players, and a dozen more that might not be completely about instruction and have highlights, etc, but I’ve found some good training videos if I comb through a new hockey channel I stumble upon. If I want to learn how to play guitar or take up karate, I can probably find at least some level of help there. Like maybe I could theoretically afford one guitar lesson a week with a live person, or I could get hours on end of instruction on YouTube. They aren’t there to move my fingers for me, or other hands-on things, but I’d bet there’s a lot you can still learn via a recorded video.
And recreationally, I can listen to music, new or old, find old music videos I haven’t seen in years, I can even find compilations of old commercials from the 80s and 90s when I was growing up. Theme songs of TV shows I used to watch, clips from shows or movies, you name it, you can probably find it, or at least end up finding something to your liking. I enjoy music reaction videos too, where people hear music that’s new to them and they give their opinion on it. It’s cool to see younger generations (or in some cases, older generations) hearing something out of their wheelhouse, or an earlier or later era of a genre, and watch them loving it just like you did when you first heard it. I’ve been watching some travel videos lately too, I’ve even seen “city walk” videos, and it’ll just be a first-person view from someone walking the streets of a given city. I’ll probably never go to Moscow, but now I know what it looks like. Probably won’t get to Bogota, Colombia, but now I’ve sort of seen it. NYC, London, Tokyo, Paris…it’s all out there, someone did it. In the case of NYC, I’ve been there many times, and it’s more “ayyyyyy, I know that place, I got pizza there!”
YouTube just seems to have it all. So my broad answer is just access to most imaginable public information, and YouTube if you want something more specific.
I like having information at your finger tips. You can get things done easier. But I think some of the things people use it for is going to break down our family structure. Dating and online fuck me sites are going to cause lots of trouble there just making affairs to easy.
Yeh they even have there own dating site.

Also, free pirate sites like Putlockers, 123Movies, and ProjectFreeTV. I wouldn't be caught dead paying for trash that hates me for being straight and male and calls us all "incels, racists, and trolls" whenever we don't suck the metaphorical d*ck of any of their trash woke content, like Disney+ or Amazon Prime. The fact people are still paying money to these companies that outright HATE you, astounds me. I'd sooner pay the pirates than Disney.
I worked for Amazon there all about the buck, you should see the way they treat there employee's. There biggest career success story wax a 32 year old woman who made floor supervisor in 3 years
Other, because all of the above and more. The internet is just as awesome as air and water nowadays. I could still survive without the internet connection, but I do enjoy the internet. Again, it's not a total big deal if the internet ever ceased to exist and we went back to postal mail and telephones, lols. 😈☮️✌🏻
When I was young and I wanted to know something, I went to the local public library and the nice lady librarian helped me research it. Now, I just hop on the Internet and use its many tools to not only learn about it, but to see and hear it too.
Definitely online shopping! It made my life much easier. Whether I need medicines, groceries, appliances, cell phones or clothes... I get to see so many options at the comfort of my home and have them delivered at my doorstep! It comes so handy when you're too busy or sick to go shopping. Other than online shopping, it's music. Music helps me a lot.
I love the Internet as a source of news. My favorite apps are IMDB and Wikipedia. But I will admit that I absolutely love the unlimited assortment of nude pics of beautiful women. I’m not really into porn videos, I prefer still pictures. Kind of a high tech throwback to the Playboy magazines of my youth!
Discovering random facts that I didn’t know before, or researching interesting things from history.
Also, today I saw a video (tiktok facebook reel) that showed you how to wear your hoodie on backwards and use the hood to hold your cat. So I tried that out.
So, yeah, the internet is just full of fun.
My favourite thing about the internet is the funny videos I see and the inspirational and personal growth teachings on there. I also like the education opportunities with free language videos for basically every language in mainstream culture teachable for free. And I love religious music.
My favorite thing about the internet is having so much information at my fingertips. I can learn to play the piano, take a geography quiz, get answers to just about any type of question, watch a science video, etc., etc., etc.
Nice! I used to watch the videos for ways to do my kids' hair. 😂
Yikes 😳
Of those selections, email and texting. But I agree with @sage2021 about the ability to look anything up. And, that we are connected to everyone and anyone on the planet.
people... for sure, sure
although, I only started to use the internet around age 20... and that was because I wanted all the music I could find
Being able to research stuff. I dont really care about ABCE. I only do D if its not in store. So i prefer internet for what i assume it was always for, to research further information on something. I mainly research stuff regarding cities and travel plans
Being able to look up almost everything I need instantaneously.
Email is very convenient and quick. I really hate texting because that's usually done on a cell phone and it's just painful. I also like playing video games.
The ability to bring places that one had to travel too around the world into a home or company office.
... the option -and challenge- of getting next to everything for free -> even if 'the System' (the money bags) considers this to be illegal (in THEIR interpretation of ''law'')
Being able to research a random thought freely from wherever you are whenever you want.
Access to information almost instantaneously. Almost anything that you want to look up.
I would prefer the CB radio over the internet any day. If there were more CB radio users I wouldn't get on the internet probably at all because I really don't like being on it. I mostly get on the internet to get the news and updates from independent sources too because main stream media can't and won't tell the truth all they know how to do is lie about everything.
