A satellite isn’t a habitat for human beings. Why would i go? Why would anyone go? 100% of deep space exploration efforts have been unmanned. Is there reason to believe this will be the first exception?

It would be awfully cramped in that satellite, don't ya think? Besides, Jupiter is even further away than Mars! It's so cold there, and you can't breathe the atmosphere. Hell, you can't even stand on the thing, being a gas giant and all of that.

Why should we? We can see the moon easily from our planet. It's also just a barren rock. Jupiter is much more interesting.
