Did no one use Windows 95?

I see that games in 1997 were still being made for MS Dos as if Windows 95 didn't exist.

I used it at work in High School. An old 486 DX 33Mhz with 32MB RAM updated from DOS 6.2 and Windows 3.1 to Windows 95. It was super slow. Even though all I used it for was Excel. Also Minesweeper and Solitaire when bored.

I much preferred using Windows 98 on the other office PC when I ran Payroll and did GL entries. Which was a 300Mhz AMD CPU with 64MB RAM. That thing was like greased lightning in comparison. Plus it had an cable internet connection. I built my first website on that computer with Adobe Pagemill.

But personally I had a Mac. System 7.1 then Mac OS 7.6 were much nicer to use. I stuck with 7.6 until Mac OS 9. As Mac OS 8 didn't look any different than 7.6 with Aaron. I didn't see the need to spend money to have a slower computer.

I did a long time ago but it’s the same as some people still use windows 7 computers and sometimes even XP…. Sometimes people use older operating systems.

I’m not really sure. But some people take time to switch operating system’s especially back then when even having a computer was a total luxury

My father got his computer in 1998 in a country like Turkey.

Compare Turkey with USA now.

Yes. But it just takes time for some people to switch over. You see people today still using Windows 7 or XP. You see people using older editions of MAC.

I didn't use but the computer we had back then had windows 95. I only saw but never used. I have mostly used windows xp and onwards.

No. There are are actually still devices that use Windows 95.
