Black border on snapchat?

At first I thought I was going crazy but today when I opened my snap camera, there was a large black border on the top and bottom. I thought maybe I was seeing things, so I got my friend to log in on my phone and hers is completely normal whereas mine has these borders? is there any way to fix this or is it a snapchat bug?

I'm aware there is a smaller black border only on the bottom of my friends camera on her log In which mine used to be like.. but even the bottom border is bigger. what is going on?

Remember your login information and uninstall your current Snapchat, then reinstall Snapchat see how that works also try going to settings of your phone then apps & notifications then look for Snapchat then delete Storage & Cache then reinstall Snapchat. Have you both got the same version of Snapchat installed? Maybe one of you hasn’t updated the app.

she logged in using my phone on the same app, so it would be updated the same for both of us I believe
