How do I get Discord to WORK?

so, i'm trying to access discord through my school laptop, which has several filters and things to block students from accessing websites like discord. usually, i use discord on safari but now it says 'safari can't open page' or the discord screen is stuck on loading, so i switched to chrome, then the same thing happened. what do i do?

update: i asked my sister to help and she said to restart my laptop and it works now 😶

Same thing happens on my kids' school laptops. Unless you crack the admin controls your school's put on there (and I don't recommend that, they monitor for it) you can't. Deep in the browser code, the schools block the ports for most stuff so you can't access it. It's really more that everything is turned off and a few things are on the allow list.
