Do you hold you phone with more grip when walking over a manhole, or a sewer metal thing, or a bridge in general?

Lol. I have that kind of scare in me. I am scared that my phone wiuld somehow slip from my hands and go in the pipeline present under.

I am like, nope not gonna happen. I hold on to my phone really tightly when walking over these areas.

I am really afraid of heights as well. I am not able to handle myself on heights let alone take out my phone lol.😂

There was a point in my life when I was picked to settle a bet. I was evenly split between the two outcomes, and talked the guys into a coin toss. I flipped the quarter, and then a gust blew in and flung it into the field we were standing by. It couldn't've gone that far, but we couldn't find it. We moved over by the street, and I flipped another, even facing away from the field- but I bungled the catch, and it bounced off my hand and went down a storm drain. Annoyed, I moved onto a neighbor's deck and tried for a third time, and no joke, a BIRD flew down, grabbed the coin, and made off with it.

I don't take ANY chances with valuable stuff falling/sliding/being swiped by nature in general after that.

I lost a flip phone in a pool about 15 years ago. I avoid walking over metal grates in streets and sidewalks. I don’t have my phone or my keys out of my pocket when I am walking over grates.

I have not lost anything till now. But I have seen in the movies. Airpods, keys and all sorts of things, just lost.

I tend not to be on my phone in public. In these situations it would be in my pocket
