I do for a month each year. I go off grid to a friends Swiss chalet. It has no running water and no electricity as it's high up in the remote mountains.

He has made a lot of modifications to it these last couple of years he was there during Covid. So assume he's modernised it all. Will go there is September.

I would be brutal but we always manage. I have been through war like 3 times, electricity was out for 3 - 5 months. Bikes , walking miles and miles, everything takes much longer time, more fun, nore reading, free exercise so yea, i think i could. It would be a nice challenge for all humans to wake up and see the real problems

Sure but I wouldn’t like it. I can ride a horse, make a shelter (I am a scout leader), use a bow/arrow and even drive a stream train. Don’t need electricity for any of that.

Two ways to survive something like that.
1. You are already prepared and are growing your own food and preserving it.
2. Have plenty of ammunition to protect what you have or take whatever you need.
