Do Public Schools Track Employee's Internet Use?

I recently acquired a job with a public school as a custodian I start tomorrow the 13th I'm not planning on using the internet for anything bad but I just don't like the idea of my higher ups looking at my data or seeing me on facebook or sometimes I listen to music while I work when appropriate. I will be using my VPN or phone data at the worst, but if I wasn't to would they be able to see what I'm doing and what.

Thanks to everyone for your answers. Again I have a VPN and worst case I can use my own data plan sense that's a separate network. I just don't like the idea of the higher ups looking at my personal data. As specialy with how serious schools are with security theese days, the last thing I want is for some stuckup management to take something I searched and turn it into something its not, or mention my internet use to accuse me of slacking off.

The PCs in schools usually have blocked many websites anyway. Just delete your browser history and you're good.

They absolutely can and it's allowed if/when you choose to use their internet/wifi.

They most likely do as it is a way to figure out if someone is plotting something on the school
