It's difficult. Newer chatbots with GPT 4 are difficult to recognize after reading few sentences. However the AI is only so good as the data library the algorithm has access to. At some point AI starts to write textes like a pseudo intelligent alcoholic who repeats itself. It doesn't know how to react to spontaneous discussion style changes. If you talk with it like with adult person but you change suddenly to talk with it like with a child it's confused while humans get it instantly.
In English it's much better than in other languages with more complex grammatical rules, but I think it's just a database issue.

It's fairly easy to spot it because it doesn't sound natural. It feels like your reading something written by someone who doesn't have English as a first language and if you know anything about the subject you'll spot a lot of nonsense in the content.

There is one guy on here that speaks like a loonie AI and types weird shyt. He describes any answer with weird synynoms and expressive words that always seems to have obsecene meaning. I think Some people will recognise whom i am talking about. His name has Something like slayer in it or Some shyt

when my grammar is good, people call me ai. when i leave out words to show i am not ai, i lose 7 points for grammar... time after time. luckily a few people appreciate me here...
