What is the weirdest scam you've been targeted with?

I was the target of a really bizarre scam years ago by American scammers. There was a profile on a dating site that was clearly over-aged. This number stopped texting me and I checked in to see what had happened to them. I guess they had so many targets for their dating scam and must have forgotten about me. A "detective" then contacted me telling me that some guys daughter was underage and was threatening to leave to go see me. I was then told that even if I didn't know they were a minor, I could face 10-20 years in prison and he could get an extraditable warrant. He then talked to "the father", and mediated a call with me where it was decided that if I paid a couple thousand dollars to cover the phone plan being prematurely cancelled and some other nonsense that it would be dropped. I should've realized this was a scam to begin with, but what 100% sealed the deal was when the "detective" used some random non-professional email, like a hotmail or something like that, and sent me this weirdly worded text letter saying I had to send the money via western union. I don't know if I still have any contact info for it, and they have probably long since changed their numbers and emails and all that, but it was an absolutely insane scam.
