Why do takes refresh if you leave the page for a few seconds 😫😩

It needs a save automatically option or algorithm just like most word processors and such. This is too muchhhhhh.

I had word-loads (lol) of information of a personal experience and was planning a series, but now- the motivation is wiped clean lol

literally had to leave the page to walk and talk with my nephew and walk my sister’s dog for a few, and came back clicked on the phone, opened safari, and voila as if it never happened.

The agony is real with this one.

If you are typing up a longer piece, use Google Docs. It saves automatically whenever you add something. I was working on a school assignment yesterday and my power went out (on a clear day).

Found out it was dock workers who were fixing an electrical issue with another boat's power supply (dock box). They said they were going to have the power back on shortly, so I took a walk and when I came back they were gone and the power was back on.

So I started my computer back up, I hadn't lost any of my work because I was working in Google Docs. I began to work on the project again, when the power went off AGAIN. Sure enough, the dock workers were back. I went and asked them if they were planning to be shutting the power off and on repeatedly throughout the day, since I was working on my computer. They apologized and said they hadn't planned on returning but something happened. All in all, it wasn't a big deal because Docs had saved my work, but I didn't want to keep getting started to get shut down.

Anyway, that's my tale and I was not really frustrated because I didn't lose anything, I just had to take an unplanned break.

no worries, I have definitely also been in a similar situation as yourself and lost everything I'd written over an hour or even hours and just been so crushed and frustrated I didn't even bother trying to recreate it.

Ouch! I can feel that pain. It has happened to me every now and then in the past. My second pain is when I write the lengthiest take, proof-read it a couple of times, submit it, and then spot a glaring mistake I overlooked.

Yea you have to use the mobile browser and save as you go. This site refreshes anytime i click another tab open

sorry for that, i think there is a save button? but not automatic save like blogs nor google docs. i think it is part of a conspiracy to deter people making a mytake, that and other limitations so only someone really motivated would bother.

Yeah have to use laptop/chromebook/macbook/computer word applications for any long assignment or project (s). This is unfortunately and apparently clear now. Will definitely make a point and make use of this in the future.
