- Call me silly, or call me curious.
I prefer the latter, but I was wondering:
Where do thoughts go? Where do memories go? After we “forget” them. To add right on top of it, and to add to the effects:
Where do pictures or data go after they’ve been deleted?
And finally, of course-
Where do we go after we’ve died.
It’s a bit much, but deletion… removal. How do we process it. In my favorite law of science, it goes as: energy can neither be created nor destroyed.
I wanna know, after we’ve created something like a photo, and built storage, even to the point of needing a ‘clouds’ to store data, where would any of that go upon removal?
Is it simply destroyed?
While we sleep, our brain “gets rid” of some information that seems irrelevant to us, and maybe even perhaps, never made it to long term memory. Anyhow, we also have dreams to “supposedly” get rid of subconscious information we don’t need, yet somehow we preview it. That information gets previewed and sometimes we try to remember it. After we have woken up.
*But where do thoughts and memories go?* Why must our brain acknowledge or process it in order to delete it? And at that stage, where does it ultimately go? How do WE even store memory in this muscle and this ORGAN called a brain. 🧠 How does it fit and how does it stay?
I supposed this is very much a loaded question, but where do things go when they get “removed” from a location they’ve been moved to or created in/from. Does it just go somewhere else? Or does it get simply destroyed.
Thoughts? Info? Sources? Let me know.

Also it’s not just like inside out where there’s glass balls on shelves or little people. So where do memory of emotions and concepts go? Motor skills and all? Staying or leaving for good. Where does it go? All I know is having thoughts results in electric neurons firing in the brain or so.

In a box at the back of my mind with a category. Then I bring it out when I need it. Kinda like a resource reference library.
I think a lot of it is stored in the subconscious and due to our brain's only functioning a certain percentage, our recall is hindered.
They go back in our memory volt.
